APThe Titans appear to be without a receiving target and a return man, as Marc Mariani just suffered what appeared to be a grisly left leg injury.
There was a near-Joe Theismann quality to the replay, and if it comes on later, you might want to avert your eyes if you’re squeamish. He was attended to on the field a considerable time by trainers, before they put an air cast on him and hauled him off on a cart.
ESPN said it was a left tibia fracture, and Mariani was on his way to the hospital.
If he’s out for the year (and you hate to speculate, but it was fairly ugly), it would open the door for Darius Reynaud to keep a roster spot as a return man.

tough break kid, no pun intended. heal up and get back at it.
Brutal sight. Good luck on the road to recovery Marc.
Your Titans family and friends will always be ther.e for you Marc. get well soon
That was definately a Theisman moment. I could not believe neither Trent nor Boomer said anything after seeing the replay. Trent tried to play it off as he did not know how bad it was… Dude’s leg was at a 90 degree right angle — going the wrong way!
Good luck and keep your head up.
