The Dallas Cowboys’ offense got off to a slow preseason start, but the St. Louis’ Rams defense appears to have given back Tony Romo & Co. their mojo.

As the first quarter of Saturday night’s exhibition game came to a close, Romo was 9-of-13 passing for a whopping 198 yards and two touchdowns. In one quarter.

Rams rookie cornerback Janoris Jenkins has been burned in coverage and missed several tackles. Cowboys receiver Dwayne Harris has two catches, and they’ve each gone for a touchdown. As the first-quarter whistle blew, Harris had a game-high 99 receiving yards.

Cowboys tailback DeMarco Murray has also looked sharp with five catches for 26 yards and two receptions for 16 more.

The Cowboys smartly pulled Romo after just the first quarter. He looked to be in regular season form.
