The trade for a cornerback will dominate the headlines, but the Colts had an injury which is also significant.

Coach Chuck Pagano said Sunday, in comments distributed by the team, that nose tackle Brandon McKinney will miss the rest of the season after tearing his ACL.

McKinney was one of the former Ravens Pagano brought with him to help install his system, and a solid pro. Along with former Ravens Cory Redding and Tom Zbikowski, they were counting on McKinney teaching on the field.
