1. HBO…. this is the first time ever where I have not enjoyed Hard Knocks. It is getting even worse as any player with any personality is being shipped off. Looked like the QB competition would be interesting until Garrard got hurt. Philbin is the most boring man alive, Reggie Bush is the only good skill position player they have and he doesn’t have much of a personality, and Ryan Tannehill just looks like a total d-bag and I am rooting against him with everything I have.

2. Miami fans… I think your front office is gunning for the #1 overall pick next year. All I have seen them do is weaken the team.

I meant the Miami night life environment, which from what I’ve heard of him in the past has been one of his issues.

However, I’d also add that going from one of the worst run organizations to one of the best (even despite all of the off-season changes) won’t hurt either.

Sure, the Colts were crappy last year but they were in the Super Bowl 3 years ago, while the Dolphins have been in the playoffs once in 10 years while coming dangerously close to 0-16 twice in a decade. That’s hard to do.

Dolphin fans need to come to grips with the fact that not only does Jeff Ireland and Stephen Ross not have a clue, but there are deeper long term problems in that organization.

When prominent influential advisors who’ve been in place pre-dating Ross and Ireland not only advise that Mike Tomlin was “too hip hop” for the HC job but also passed on talented front office types like Thomas Dimitroff amongst others, there is a systemic rot permeating that organization that needs to be blown up.

“Davis has been a good player on a crappy team. Being away from Miami might do him better, too.”

How will it “help” him? He’s going from a crappy team to a crappy team.

“..A steal for the Colts.”

Not for a high second-round pick, it’s not.

At some point this “Dolphins coaching staff” is going to learn how to deal with their top players instead of sending them off whenver they don’t want to manage them.

Miami gives up Marshall without a similar replacement thus currently have very little talent at receiver. Now this move to unload V. Davis. A typical Dolphin GM move by Ireland for reducing the teams talent level. However the team will have great citizens with character.
