Manning will last through the length of this contract, he is a tough player. His neck will hold up, the doctors that worked on him are some of the best out there.

So, if they don’t win the Super Bowl, but Manning has a big year, Denver can trade off Manning to some other team and load up on players and picks? Sounds like a hell of a deal for them.

It’s nice that the Broncos are protected but my guess is Payton will be better next year then he is this year. They are going to keep him around for as long as they can.

Peyton will be good enough to make sure they don’t have a high enough draft pick to replace him.

Then it’s a question of how many draft picks are worth Peyton’s Salary over the next 2 years?

Would a rookie win you as many games? Probably not, but then again will Peyton win you a Super bowl? This is nothing more than retirement money for Peyton; and a band aid for the Bronco’s……..who had their front office hijacked by Tebow Fever.

Slow news day. Nothing to see here. More mindless speculation by someone who has obviously not watched manning throw in camp or preseason. He looks fine, and will get even better as the season progresses. He has shown that he can make all of the throws required by an nfl quarterback but has been hurt by a TON of dropped passes this preseason.
