The Seahawks have pawned off a quarterback they didn’t need, and the Bills may be about to put two more into the pool.

According to Ian Rapoport of the NFL Network, Seattle has traded quarterback Tarvaris Jackson to Buffalo. No terms were mentioned, but Rapoport tweeted the deal would be done soon.

Jackson was cooked in Seattle weeks ago, when it became clear Russell Wilson was probably going to start over $19 million man Matt Flynn. Where this one gets interesting is how it impacts the Bills depth chart.

Vince Young and Tyler Thigpen were believed to be competing for one spot, with Brad Smith hanging around as the third to run Wildcat plays.

Now that they’ve added Jackson, Young and Thigpen could both end up on the street, unless the Bills decided to scrap their plans with Smith.
