ReutersMaking cuts is about the least of the Saints’ concerns today, as they try to figure out if they’re in the path of Tropical Storm Isaac.
Players had been given Monday off to make plans with their families for evacuating from the storm area, but now will take off a day early so they’re sure they can get out, according to Nakia Hogan of the New Orleans Times-Picayune.
The Saints will fly to Cincinnati tonight , and will practice there Tuesday and have a walk-through Wednesday morning before heading to Nashville Wednesday afternoon. They play the Titans Thursday night.
The hope is that when that game’s over, they have a safe place to return to.

Anyone else find it strange the Saints didn’t just fly straight to Nashville? It’s a preseason game, not like they should be worried about the Titans watching their walk through.
It is nice that Cincy will put them up for a day. will they practice together?
First “Hurricane Roger” and now this. But it looks like New Orleans is better prepared for Isaac. If you go to Nola.com under news, you can see detailed drawings and photos of all of the new levees, walls and gates than have been built to close off the surging water. Should have been done before Katrina, but better late than never.
