As the Jaguars try to acquire a higher profile in the NFL, offensive lineman Eben Britton says that his unit plans to get attention in a very direct and blunt way.

“We are going to be the nastiest, most violent offensive line in the NFL,” Britton said Wednesday at JaxChamber’s annual Jaguars luncheon, via the Jacksonville Business Journal. “I can promise you, the offensive line is going to be a hell of a lot of fun to watch this year.”

Very few fans derive pleasure from watching an offensive line. Instead, the offensive line allows the quarterback, the running backs, and the receivers do things that constitute fun.

But if the linemen have a mean streak and dominate defenders and knock guys on their butts, then the fun of watching a good offense will be even more fun.
