A very deep unit will just get deeper when he returns. I say PUP him and get the extra rehab in, then bring him in slowly when he gets back. I’m pretty sure they a 2-week roster exemption when they activate him off PUP anyway.

This year’s seventh rounder is the starting right guard and Moffit may be his backup. Carpenters seems certain to start at left guard upon his full return to health. McQuistan can play any position except center and Moffit is the backup center.

They could still use another offensive tackle.
