As for Tim Tebow, Why would you cut an inexpensive backup quarterback who brings real gameday value rather than just holding a clipboard. How about letting the guy fail before labeling him a failure. Of which he hasn’t been so far in the NFL. People hate on the guy way too hard.

Jets are ONLY worth something because of their location. The franchise itself is pathetic.

I do agree with you about TT. He is the most scrutinized current player in NFL, that has managed to win a few games along the way.

On to Tebow, even if he doesn’t throw another pass for the rest of his career, there’s an obvious role for him on any of the 32 rosters. So why ask for his release. Haters just want to hate i guess.

Tebow will certainly score some TD’s this year and if he were listed as a fantasy rb (where he belongs) I would draft him.

Its pretty well documented at this point that he’s one of the most selfish players in the game – when its glory time he will call his own number. No rb has ever had a great season playing with Timmy – not in high school, not at Florida and not in Denver – and I don’t see it happening this year either.

Good point. I know it was against weaker competition, but the only Jets QB who has looked even half decent this preseason is Greg McElroy. He is at least 3 to 5 times better at the QB position than Tebow. Like in Denver, Tebow will “earn” the backup QB with his name alone.

Also, I watched the Giants game the other night and the local Giants announcers couldn’t stop raving about Matt Broha.

Uh, no. This is the NFL version of a garage sale, one man’s junk is another man’s treasure. Jets are just opening up early, and should be in search of a capable WR, OL, TE today.

Can’t wait for you and the other Tebow bashers to eat 3 plates of Crow this year when he scores a few game winning TD’s.
