The number of Gronkowskis in the NFL has, for now, reduced to two.

The Browns has waived tight Dan Gronkowski, according to a source with knowledge of the situation.

Dan, 27, is the oldest of the NFL’s Brothers Gronk.  He has played for the Browns, Patriots, Broncos, and Lions.

Chris, 25, plays fullback for the Broncos.  Kid brother Rob, 23, is one of the best tight ends in the league.

Because Dan Gronkowski doesn’t have four years of service, he’ll pass through waivers before becoming a free agent.
