Our final roster tracker already informed you of four Eagles cuts.
On Friday afternoon, the team announced via its website 19 roster moves, including the four previously reported. The player with the biggest name released by Philadelphia is veteran safety O.J. Atogwe.
More Eagles cuts: Wide receivers Chad Hall and Marvin McNutt, safety Phillip Thomas, guard Brandon Washington, guard/center Steve Vallos, tight end Brett Brackett, defensive tackle Landon Cohen, fullback Emil Igwenagu, tackle D.J. Jones, linebacker Adrian Moten, defensive tackle Ollie Ogbu, linebacker Ryan Rau, defensive end Monte Taylor, and defensive tackle Frank Trotter.
The Eagles, for the moment, appear to be keeping six cornerbacks: Nnamdi Asomugha, Dominique Rodgers-Cromartie, Brandon Boykin, Curtis Marsh, Trevard Lindley, and Brandon Hughes.
They’ve also gone heavy on quarterbacks, keeping four: Michael Vick, Nick Foles, Trent Edwards, and Mike Kafka.
Same goes for running back: LeSean McCoy, Dion Lewis, and rookies Bryce Brown and Chris Polk all remain on the pared-down roster.
Kafka, Polk, and Hughes shouldn’t be feeling too comfortable, though. The Eagles could still part ways with one, two, or all three if they like something they see come across the waiver wire.
