APThe Buccaneers decided they needed some extra line help, and found it Saturday.
They claimed defensive tackle Corvey Irvin (Jaguars) and offensive linemen Julian Vandervelde (Eagles) and Cody Wallace (Texans), addressing some depth issues on both sides of the ball.
Since they had cut to 52 Friday, they only had to release two of their own, cutting defensive lineman Wallace Gilberry and guard Bradley Sowell, pulling them off the practice field.
Bucs coach Greg Schiano called his roster a “very fluid situation,” and more moves could come in the next few days.

It’s too bad to see the Eagles cut Vandervelde.
If by “very fluid situation” Schiano means that running backs will be running through us like a hot knife through melted butter, I’m afraid he might be right.
Don’t know Vandervelde, he has potential?
