The Colts promised they’d be active in the waiver process, using their first-in-line status as a chance to add to their roster.

They weren’t lying, as they claimed three players Saturday.

They added safety Sergio Brown (from New England), nose tackle Martin Tevaseu (Jets) and offensive tackle Mike Person (San Francisco).

Of course, that ended the road for three guys who survived yesterday’s cuts: Safety Jermale Hines, cornerback D.J. Johnson and offensive tackle Ty Neskhe.

Expect to see them continue to comb through, as teams make second-wave cuts of guys who were initially good enough for their 53s.
