Deuce Lutui could land in Tennessee

The Titans have only four receivers and nine offensive linemen.  So, obviously, they could be adding another offensive lineman.

Guard Deuce Lutui could be joining the team, according to TitanInsider.com.

Cut by the Seahawks last week, Lutui has worked out for the Titans.  Per the report, the two sides are now talking about a contract.

Is Lutui is on the Week One roster, he would be entitled to receive the balance of his contract via the CBA’s termination pay provision.

Lutui has spent all six of his NFL seasons with the Cardinals.

One of their offensive linemen is injured (Otto, out at least week one) and another has been battling knee issues (Harris) and didn’t play last week.

Still, if they commit a full year’s salary to Lutui by signing him this week, then go ahead and hit the panic button on their interior OL, because it must be a lot worse than they’re admitting in public.

Would be a descent backup in case Harris or Hutchinson goes down.

He is has weight issues. Cards gave him chances and beyond. He always chose the buffet over the game

    that’s actually a pretty funny line…
but the reality is it speaks to the level of confidence they have in their WRs (pretty high) vs the level of confidence they have in their interior line (not so much)…
