The Ravens may be on the verge of a major move.

Or it may already be made.

Aaron Wilson of the Baltimore Sun reports the team is trying to restructure the contract of left tackle Bryant McKinnie today, and that the “situation could lead to his release.”

Then again, there’s a chance it already has.

Within the last hour, McKinnie posted on Twitter the following: “Decision is made! I’m gone!

The Ravens want to pay him less than the $3.2 million base salary he’s set to make, perhaps even at the risk of uprooting their offensive line again.

Stay tuned.

UPDATE 12:28 p.m. ET: Wilson just tweeted that in a text message asking if he was no longer on the team, McKinnie replied “Yes.”

UPDATE 1:03 p.m. ET: But wait, there’s more. McKinnie texted Wilson again, saying “Just go a phone call its not officially over as of yet.”
