People sometimes forget that he was instrumental in the AFL/NFL merger and the Raiders would not exist if it weren’t for the loan Mr. Wilson gave the organization when it was on the verge of bankruptcy.

Ralph Wilson helped shape football into what it is today and I hope he lives to see this great sport continue to flourish.
