Except Eli could actually back up his comments because he rarely misses games. Vick misses significant time repeatedly and he’s the reason why the team which employs him will never win. Some people are confident for good reason and others are just delusional. I think it’s easy to see where Vick falls here…

You know the Eagles really remind me of the Giants in 2007. The quarterback was doubted, People even started calling Eli a bust. Then you had Coughlin the New York media was all but demanding his termination, we all know what happened after that.

I doubt the Eagles end up having similar success to the Giants, but setting expectations high for yourself isn’t a bad thing. After all last year around this time most of the posters on this website laughed at Eli Manning when he called himself “elite” and everybody who laughed ended up with a huge plate of crow in early February.

The Eagles were 7-3 last year when Vick started the game and didn’t leave due to injury. The problem isn’t that he’s not good, the problem is that he can’t stay healthy. That’s why I for one am ready for a changing of the guard next season. Foles could be the future, and the future could be pretty soon.

All this guy does is TALK. blah, blah, we can be a dynasty, blah, blah, we ain’t got no rings, blah, blah…

But when the pressure & heat are on, Mike never delivers. Never has, never will. He is a career underachiever.

Mike Vick will retire being the career underachiver he has always been, no championships, losing record in the playoffs, never lived up to the HYPE.

But maybe it’s not Mikeys fault, maybe no one ever told him to shut up. Just like no one ever told him torturing animals for enjoyment was wrong.

After all, nothing is ever Mikeys fault, he always has an excuse for his behavior…

The Eagles are a least 1 OT and 1 S away from being a legit SB contender. That’s assuming no serious injuries and that Mike the mic learns how to slide and to exercise judgment in the pocket. LOL.

Reid will be back if he wins 10+ games and a playoff game. But he probably needs a 2012 NFCC game appearance for an extension beyond 2013.

The real question to determine when the Iggles will contend seriously – when does Foles become the starter, and how does he do vs first string defenses?

feels like a last gasp for most of the key players in this drama. no playoffs and i think Reid and Vick will be gone. it’s probably time – after 13 years a change of scenery is not a bad thing for both sides. as for Vick, we all know that he will miss 3-5 games. guaranteed.
