Ironically, I heard on Wild 94.1 this morning a couple bucs fans saying ‘they wish the team would relocate.’ A few others called in and they called them fairweather fans, while others took shots at the organization for not televising Ronde Barber’s 200th consecutive start.

Even with the new black out rule, they still can’t sell out.

Glad my team doesn’t have to deal with this

My father had season tickets for Bucs games from 1990-1997. When the new stadium was built and opened, the PSL’s were astronomical (compared to tickets at the old stadium) and people that bought them had to sign an agreement to buy them for 10 years, so, in 2008, those people were off the hook. It’s been widely reported that the Bucs started having blackout scares during the playoff game against the Giants in 2007, and that multiple games during 2008 and beyond would have been blacked out if the Glazers hadn’t bought up all the unsold tickets.

The season ticket waiting list went from 100,000 to 0 overnight from 2007 to 2008, ironic that the waiting list dissapeared the year the season ticket holders were off the hook.

Since there is a plethora of the Strip clubs in tampa why not make a deal buy a ticket you get a halftime lapdance.

bucs team value just went up and surpassed the 1 billion so i dont think the owners are hurting……. give the fans new owners who are committed to the bucs and not european soccer. The Glazers have burnt too many bridges in Tampa.

Love how people that don’t live here can comment on whats going on in Tampa. There are 1500 seats that are $35, rest are well over $100. And to support what? Spend all that so the glazers can sink more $$ into man-u? Bucs wont go anywhere, lease agreement is too sweet for them. They make more $$$ than half the teams. So all you people that dont live in Tampa and wanna comment on Bucs fans, bite me.

I’m driving down from the Atlanta area for the game. Hard core fans will always be there, but the Bucs need to win a few games early and show the fans a real commitment to winning, before the rest will return!

He must be pretty phony on cap spending even though he spent a lot of money on Vincent Jackson and Carl Nicks.

Let’s face it they Tampa Bay Buccaneers fans don’t care for the team anymore because icons like Derrick Brooks are not there anymore.

this is a bad Fanbase and just because you lost an iconic figure it doesn’t mean that you should ignore your team even though it can be competitive. These fans are the worst in the NFL and in honor of the recently great, but sadly passed Art Modell the Glazers should leave Tampa the way that he left Cleveland.

Clevelanders supported the Browns, but no matter how hard the Buccaneers try this area never will. That’s not worth the damn team’s time.

First home game of the season, the game is at 4:25 and it’s against Cam Newton and the Panthers. You still only techincally had to sell 85% of your non-premium tickets. Seriously, Tampa that’s bad. And people are saying the Jags should move…

As a Bucs season ticket holder for 18 years, it’s not complicated!! 4-12 last year and a ten game losing streak! Are there a ton of fair weather fans in Tampa, yes!, but, you have to win!! You have to win!! It used to be impossible to get tickets and we used to have 5 future hall of famers and reach the playoffs every year. Keep it simple, 4-12—-10 game losing streak! Is that on schianno (no), is that on v. Jackson, Carl nicks (no), but they have to prove it. The Bucs gave up 40 PTs over and over again and “looked” like a team that quit! You have to earn it on the field and that starts Sunday! In 1997, the Bucs came out and earned it on the field, got wins and the fans came. It will get there again and it will be soon!

For what it’s worth, The Rays aren’t on solid ground either, before long, the only game left in Tampa might be hockey.

It’s a shame to see my hometown going through these issues, but it is what it is. The fanbase was the same in the 80′s and 90′s as it is today.

Miami is struggling to sell out as well, people are constantly talking about moving the Jags and 14 out of 16 for the Bucs is pretty scary, so people are talking about moving the Bucs to LA, because they can’t sell out because of the transplants, so they are going to move the team to another city of transplants in LA? Yikes.
