Von Miller says it’s more businesslike with the Broncos

Thursday’s episode of Pro Football Talk featured a visit from Broncos linebacker Von Miller, the 2011 NFL defensive rookie of the year.

The wide-ranging interview by Erik Kuselias touched on various topics (which makes it, you know, wide-ranging), including the differences between the pre-Peyton Broncos and the current incarnation of the team.

Miller said there’s a more businesslike approach in Denver, with no music in the locker room and more focus.  That comes straight from Peyton Manning, who will hold his teammates as accountable as he holds himself.  And the Broncos will be better for it.

They’ll get their first chance to prove how much better they are on Sunday, when they host the last team the pre-Peyton Broncos defeated in the AFC wild-card round.

Marcus Dupree was rocking that style long before Von Miller. If I didn’t know better, I would think Von was his son.

Long live Peyton and his amazing attitude. The NFL is a better place with him in it. I hope he sustains an injury this year and it doesn’t sideline him but only serves to reveal his Terminator endoskeleton.

I’m not a football player, but I know you have to have focus to get somewhere.

Yes, everyone knows that music is the devil. Can’t have no music on and get serious work done.

Can u guys do another article about how serious and businesslike the broncos are now that mannings there? Tell us how he is so focused and changing culture in Denver? No other media outlet is using that angle. It’s gonna be so great when Denver goes 19-0 and wins the super bowl!! Just like last year when green bay was the greatest team ever assembled and also went 19-0 under the amazingly focus Aaron Rodgers. Sense the sarcasm?? Wow, this is getting old guys! He’s a 36 yr old coming off a year layoff from neck surgery??? Also, the only reason the broncos won games last year was playing sound defense and conservative ball control offense. Now they are gonna drop back and pass 40+ a game and you simpletons think its a foregone conclusion they will succeed?!? It’s basically a completely new team so let’s wait and see how they play!

no music…what the feezy? Peyton needs his own dome of silence. How is he going to F it up for everybody? Peyton might be the third best QB in his family. Play some music!!

Everything’s great in Donkey land, until the season starts.

You’re talking about a man with almost 55 thousand passing yards and boasts a 141-67 career regular season win-loss record. It’s pretty safe to assume the Bronco’s are going to be better than last year.

Im really starting to think the Bronco’s will go 6-10 this year thanks to Elway and The Greedy Swamp Boy. Unlike Tebow, if games arent going well, Greedy Swamp Boy will start whining and throwing players under the bus and he’s not the type of player who can rally a team to come back from major deficits.

Don’t get mad von when harrison slams manning to the turf with that “fragile neck” It’s just business! We don’t employ linebackers for their disposition!

They are going to rue the day they traded Tebow.

i think your confused. Manning is smart enough to find the open reciever before taking a hit unlike ben and your horrible o-line. von and elvis are ganna give ben a night to remember as he is star gazing most of the night. harrison is irrelivant now. washed up old and hurt.

You mean like manning did against us in 2005 when he was healthy? As joey porter sacked him 3 times for a total of 6 times that game! Ya right! Press coverage will have manning crying! Say uncle!

@steelersownyou please refresh my memory.. how did that press coverage work out for you guys against us in the playoffs 8 months ago?

@legacybroken oh right.. because coming back from being down 21 with 6 minutes to go on Monday Night Football isnt a big deficit.
