The mystery about wide receiver Austin Collie’s status is no more.
The Colts have listed Collie as inactive, and will start Donnie Avery in his place, according to Mike Chappell of the Indianapolis Star.
He was listed as questionable on the final injury report Friday.
The Colts have refused to put a timetable on his return from a preseason concussion, and it appears he still needs more time. His absence leaves rookie quarterback Andrew Luck short a proven target, but with Reggie Wayne and a group of tight ends he’s finding a chemistry with, Luck has shown he can move the team.
