New Orleans isn’t the only NFL region that has experienced adversity during the offseason.  In Colorado, the July theater shooting during The Dark Knight Rises and a rash of wildfires have marred the past several months.

The Broncos will honor the persons who have been affected by those events with a helmet sticker.  It’s a ribbon featuring the flag of Colorado, and the Broncos will wear it all season long.  The decal will debut tonight, when the Broncos host the Steelers.

“We had a lot of stuff happen around Denver in the last year and we just want to bring some happiness and joy — and hopefully some wins — back to Colorado this season,” linebacker Von Miller wrote recently, via the team’s official website.

It’s a small gesture, but it surely will mean plenty to those who have endured these difficult times in Colorado.

Was there any one else who was stupid enough to read the headline without the comma as: “Broncos will wear helmet decal for shooting wildfire victims”. The only reason I read this article was because I thought Denver had begun euthanizing burn victims…

It is nice the Donkos are able to memorialize the victims of the shootings and wildfires, but it begs the questio why didn’t they let Jake Plummer wear a sticker to memorialize Pat Tillman who was killed in Afghanistan by friendly fire while serving his country!?!

You better save some room on that sticker for #18 cause when the Broncos meet their Maker The Oakland Raiders Manning will be carried out on a stretcher

Obviously a joke, but still in poor taste dickbutts. This area is still a bit traumatized from this summer. It’s been a tough go for many people around here.

A decal. Nice. How about doing something constructive like speaking-out against handguns and automatic weapons banned? But that would never do — you don’t want to run afoul of the NRA and the weapons manufacturers.

Denverwally, I’m sure the Denver area has been quite devastated with the loss of Tim Tebow. However, I was just trying to point out the necessity of proper grammar…

I dont understand why we would honor a psy-op false flag terror event that was staged by our government but not bother to figure out the truth about said psy-op. And if you deny my statement do your own research. The police tapes that have been released prove me right
