Jags possibly steal win from Vikings with long touchdown

Jared Allen, Blaine Gabbert AP

Vikings cornerback Chris Cook has changed his Twitter handle to Cook_Isle.

And now he feels like he has been stranded on it.

With less than 30 seconds to play, Jaquars quarterback Blaine Gabbert found receiver Cecil Shorts for a sprawling, diving 39-yard touchdown — while Cook had the best seat in the house for the action.

The play erased a five-point deficit and wiped out a two-touchdown performance by Vikings running back Adrian Peterson.

Of course, it’s not over, yet.  The Vikings have the ball and a chance to drive into field-goal position.

I lost my breath on that TD pass from Gabbert. What a throw! The kid has grown some confidence this off-season.

Looks like it’s going to OT… and it is. Good game between two young QBs.

How did it wipe out a two-touchdown performance by AP? Does he not have two touchdowns now Florio?

Vikings D is in trouble when we play a good offense. Greenway and Allen were great. Hopefully the ret of the D can catch up to those guys.
