Report: Jets want to score with traditional offense before using Tebow

As the fans preparing to file in to MetLife Stadium as they in turn prepare to call in unison for the backup quarterback/personal punt protector to enter the game, there’s some information as to when we all can expect the clock in the $1.1 billion venue to read “Tebow Time.”

ESPN’s Sal Paolantonio said during Sunday NFL Countdown that he’s hearing the Jets hope to score a touchdown with the traditional offense before unleashing Tebow.

Of course, if that’s the standard we may not see Tebow until October.
