Getty ImagesAs the fans preparing to file in to MetLife Stadium as they in turn prepare to call in unison for the backup quarterback/personal punt protector to enter the game, there’s some information as to when we all can expect the clock in the $1.1 billion venue to read “Tebow Time.”
ESPN’s Sal Paolantonio said during Sunday NFL Countdown that he’s hearing the Jets hope to score a touchdown with the traditional offense before unleashing Tebow.
Of course, if that’s the standard we may not see Tebow until October.
Of 2013.

Duh – of course they want to.
“Want to” are the key words here.
Ziiiiing!
So what you’re saying is that Tebow is sitting this game out?
Great article Mike. Maybe a better title would’ve been “Tebow to debut Week 5″…. lol
Guess we won’t see Tebow until game 4…
I want the Dolphins to win the Super Bowl. There’s probably a greater chance for that.
Don’t hold your breath!
When you say “no Tebow until 2013″ does that include the press? I will keep my fingers crossed!
Until the Jets get a decent QB, they wont make it far.
Sanchez has done nothing but hold the Jets back. Sanchez didnt take the Jets to the AFC Championship game, the Jets made it there despite having Sanchez under center.
Sanchez is a mistake that no one in the Jets organization is willing to admit. Get a decent QB, and the Jets would be dangerous year in, and year out.
It’s nice to want things.
Can’t wait for this circus
Traditional=52 yard field goal attempts
AAAAND the Jets score a “traditional” TD in the first quarter, sanchez to kerley. And Florio shuts up and knocks it off with the cheap shots. Except how that won’t happen. The only thing that’ll happen quietly is this comment getting deleted……
