Slow starts for both Broncos and Steelers offenses

Admit it, you were expecting more.

The first game of the Peyton Manning era in Denver. Ben Roethlisberger and a new coordinator try to make beautiful music together in Pittsburgh.

It had all the makings.

Instead, zip-zip after a quarter.

Manning has completed some passes, taken a good shot. Roethlisberger has completed both his passes, but the Steelers struggled to run early.

This has to get better, … right?

You were expecting Manning’s first regular season game vs one of the best defenses in the NFL and Pittsburgh’s new offense plus a #1 wideout that hasn’t played with them vs two great pass rushers and Champ Bailey to start out with offensive fireworks?

Not sure too many had this game pegged for a shootout like you suggest…

These Refs have been horrible all day. Something has to give. We as fans should hold the NFL accountable and let our voices be heard

I don’t like to complain but when there is too many non calls, somethings gotta give. Theres no excuse for our defense though, can’t get off the field on 3rd downs. 36 seconds in the third quarter for the offense. The run defense is good, the pass defense sucks

Are you kidding me? That was a great defensive showing. Learn a little more about football, Gannt. It doesn’t have to be 104-382 to be exciting. Just learn the ins and outs and enjoy good play. Knucklehead.
