The guy's got tramendous physical ability and a good head. he did great in the NFC game, better than any of us expected but knew he could do..he wasnt ready when Cutty went down last year, the situation, expectations, and timing were all too much for that genuinely nice of a kid in the NFL.. his compass is just off. everyones compass is off sometime, once he gets in his own system and has time to learn and adapt it (if that ever happens), them he'll shine as well as Shaub or A.Smith could..

@ttommytom
Your math is bad. Hanie was cut and Siliga placed on the team last Friday, maintaining the team total to 53 roster spots. Siliga may not have been moved to the active roster though.
With Warren going out on IR or getting cut (who knows?) and Hanie picked up again, it is possible for Siliga and Hanie to be on the team to hold at 53 spots, but that might not happen. As I understand it, part of Hanie's major chunk of change comes from being on the roster for an actual game, and the Broncos may not want to pay him more, so he may get cut and picked up again. It may also depend on if the Broncos might want to activate someone else.

sullijo1 says:

Ummmmm, no it means that Warren will be put on the IR (or cut with an Injury Settlement) and Hanie will take his spot

Um no...

What Alper is saying is Siliga will need to be in the DT rotation because Warren is gone. He thus should stay on the roster (or another DT).

Therefore, Hanie won't be taking his spot. Unless they truly want to play with two less DT's than they had on their roster yesterday.

Good news? Hainie is terrible. I still don't get it why we chose Hainie over Adam Weber during final cuts anyway...

Losing Warren means adding Hanie won't cost anyone else a roster spot.

After seeing Tannehill and Weeden struggle tremendously yesterday, I now see why Denver added Hanie in the offseason. Playing Osweiler this soon would only stunt his development.

Sit back and learn from the master kid.
