Clay Matthews is a twinkie.

First of all what makes you think Clay Matthews is/was juicing? what proof do you have? that rumor from 2009 was never confirmed,and all the tests that they did run on Matthews came back negative for your info!

1.) The Packers are not dead, certainly not so bad as to finish 9-7…I’ll give that honor to Detroit.

2.) Thursday night promises to be a great game, both offenses will air it out, but defense will win it in the end. Bears 45-GB 35, but that could easily go the other way, too…Either way, I predict the Bears and Packers will compete for the NFC North crown, and challenge SF for that SB berth as well.

3.) Most Packer fans I’ve known, or encountered on sites like this, are knowledgeable and down-to-earth, and not much different from Bears fans…And there be idiots among us on both sides.

4.) No love lost in Packer-land for Jarrett Bush, and somehow I’ve never heard of him before now, at least not to remember…If he was any good, I’d most likely at least know his name.

5.) Can’t wait for Thursday, may the best team win! (Or not beat themselves, in any case.)

Now for all the dopes saying the Niners “out physicalled” the Packers, you are morons who only look at the box score.

He just needs to realize the 49ers were clearly the better team yesterday. I admit the refs were horrible but that is no excuse at all. The Packers were not ready to face that 49er defense, which, I might add, is outstanding. As for the Packers defense, if you make Alex Smith look like an All-Pro, there is a problem. Let’s hope the Packers patch things up before Thursday Night.

The Niners won on competence and execution. They had 0 blown coverages and made tackles every time. They also didn’t cram the ball down the Packers throats, they took it outside to exploit the slowness of our MLBs. Did you see CM3 completely blow up a convoy of blockers only to have no one else there to clean up? Did you see Hawk get sucked inside on Gore’s TD run and then give up halfway through the play.

The Packer O-line did a decent job pass blocking. Did you hear about Justin Smith at all? Did you see him planting Brees and Manning repeatedly in the playoffs last year? Aldon Smith was the main nemesis, there were plays where Rodgers would have run for 10+ yards against 90% of the league, but Smith completely held those in check to little or no gain.

You are the same morons that call talk radio and ask why the Packers don’t play/trade/get the ball to guys that are no longer on the roster.

thats not really accurate..from 95 percent of the comments ive seen on various websites packers fans understand they got beat yesterday and vs giants..its the actual players who dont understand there D completely blows outside clay matthews, woodson and williams…there fans arnt making any excuses from what i see

That said, as a Packers fan since 1961, I think this squad is living in a fantasyland. Bush is the most glaring example of some really subpar players pretending to be All-Pros.
Anyone watching Sunday saw a 49′ers team whip Green Bay with solid, no nonsense, old-time football.
The McCarthy Packers are really a bunch of whiney wooses. The Giants beat them by being more physical and running the ball. So did the 49′ers. The only guy on the team willing to do some damage is Matthews, maybe Raji. The rest of the team plays like God has bestowed on them some kind of divine gift of championship instead of having to earn it.
The Packers can’t run the ball. The linebackers are inferior(especially compared to the 49′ers), the secondary is a joke, excepting Williams. Woodson is old and mostly out of position. The offensive line is mediocre.The defensive line gets pushed around.

I’m a Packers fan, but McCarthy had better start facing facts: he can’t match up anymore by just throwing the ball, and the defense better get better in a hurry.

9-7 is the best I can see for this bunch.

Once again, props to the 49ers for winning, they are looking like the team to beat in the NFC.

An extended period of winning for GB has resulted in the creation of these kind of arrogant, entitled blow-hard fans. Most of Packer Nation is made of up of very nice people. But I think all of us has come into contact with the matthewcarlson1 type and it’s getting really old.

I’m sure you were one of the experts that paraded around here last week predicting a 35-14 GB win. How’d that work out for you?

Truth is, the refs were bad both ways, so for the idiots saying that they kept the packers close, you obviously missed the calls that ended drives for the packers, most notably the face mask sack on the last drive that made it 3rd and 17.

Fact: the packers lost to another super bowl contender by one score. Saying one team is bad is saing the other team is bad.

“Official attendance” isn’t the number of people that enter the gates – they only count the number of tickets sold. It’s been that way for decades, but I guess I shouldn’t expect a Packer fan to admit and/or know that.

Yesterday, playing the 49ers in what was a highly hyped game, the Packers “official paid attendance was 70,253 – or 96.7% of capacity.

In Chicago, playing the Colts in what was fully expected to be a blowout, the Bears “official paid attendance” was 62,341 – or 101.4% of capacity.

Besides Chicago, Denver, Houston, and Tennessee had “official paid attendance of 100% or more.

So now you can either accept the reality of what “official paid attendance” means or you can admit that Chicago, Houston, Tennessee, New York (Giants) and New Orleans have more dedicated fans (willing to actually show up to a game).

Either way, the Packers attendance isn’t as great as what the typical Packer fan claims.

BTW – I’m not a Bear fan – just someone that has been fully exposed to what the average Packer fan is like.
