APThe long-discussed Joe Haden suspension is finally official.
The Browns announced Monday afternoon that the cornerback would be suspended four games, via Mary Kay Cabot of the Cleveland Plain Dealer.
Haden’s impending suspension, for failing a test for Adderall, was first reported last month by Tony Grossi of ESPNCleveland.com, but Haden’s appeal process dragged out. He played Sunday and had a pick (it seemed like everyone in the stadium did).
His loss will be significant for a defense that looked pretty solid Sunday, forcing the Eagles into five turnovers and keeping things close.

Sooner or later you must pay the piper.
Still dont understand how Kenny Britt is a repeated offender and he gets ONE game. Joe messed up and he should sit…but set a standard and stick to it Roger!

I hear ya. What’s it been about 8 arrests over the past 2 years?
The Browns whiff on RG3 at the draft but don’t worry, the H&H braintrust had a great plan at QB.
0-16 anyone?
Don’t worry Brown’s fans you are heading for the first pick in the draft, Matt Barkley
we dnt need matt barkley ^
The difference is Haden was trying to cheat and have a competitive advantage.
Kenny Britt just wants to party – you really can’t blame him for that…
in all fairness, we MIGHT need Matt Barkley. Weeden can only get better though, right? … right?
The Browns don’t need Matt Barkley? If that’s true, it’s becuse they already have a starting-quality QB, and his name is McCoy.
No, idiot that said Hayden was trying to have a competitive edge. Haden got caught the day after a Vegas trip for using adderall in the summer when football doesn’t exist. It is a bad decision to sit him 4 games but he knew the rules. No ban on 5hour energy.
