Getty ImagesWith defensive end Tamba Hali returning from a one-game suspension, someone with Chiefs had to go.
And the guy who has gone is linebacker Cameron Sheffield.
A fifth-round draft pick in 2010, Sheffield appeared in every game last season, with one start. He also played in Sunday’s 40-24 loss to the Falcons.
Sheffield missed all of his rookie year after suffering a neck injury against the Eagles in the preseason. He’ll now be exposed to waivers. If he clears, he’ll become a free agent.

I think the Chiefs have about fourty more players and a few front office personal that should hit the waiver wire.
The big question is: Does Cameron Sheffield have any long snapping abilities?
If he does, double down the reason that division rival Oakland Raiders should bring Cameron in for a look see….
Jacoby Ford out, Bartell (CB) out 6 weeks, long snapper out…the irony DMC is healthy? My Raiders, the jokes keep coming but we got the injury bug going on and on and on and on
