Just a thought here, but I’m guessing his performance in practice never merited him getting on the field during a game. If he had shown potential in practice, he would’ve gotten his shot. The fact that he didn’t speaks volumes.

Also, there’s nothing more relevant than the fact that he never made an impact. That’s precisely why he got cut.

How do you figure you are ranked 1 and 2? You only scored 17, Baltimore dropped 44 on Cincy. Also Cleveland scored 16 on you. Cincy only scored 13 on Baltimore. Seems to me you are mistaken.

I’m using Baltimore as an example since they will be beating the eagles next week.

It is probably by yards. Eagles had over 450 yards on offense, so if they didn’t turn it over 5 times they probably would have scored 40 points as well. As for the defense, they only gave up 9 points (all of which were off turnovers) and they got 5 turnovers as well. I think gave up under 200 yards as well. Granted they only played the Browns, but stat wise I can see how they can be up there. The real test for Philly is Baltimore this week. Baltimore is a good team with no real weakness.

Andy Reid has had some really terrible bust as a talent evaluator. He just cut another recent 3rd’r in Kafka. These are high draft picks that could have been used on GOOD players by any capable head coach.

Jarrett wasn’t Andy’s pick. Infact alot of the boneheaded moves like this and not resigning Akers was more Joe Banner then anyone else. Kafka was Reid, but he was worth the risk at that point. QBs are always up in the air even when they are drafted in the first. Andy sure hit a homerun with Foles, who he fought to get.

I think he means the Ravens offense is ranked second and the Eagles defense is ranked first.

Oh and sorry but the Eagles defense only allowed nine points. The touchdown came on a pick six. You should watch the games and not just read box scores. The defense was constantly being handed short fields to defend and delivered every time.

The Ravens may very well whomp the Eagles but I doubt it will be because their defense couldn’t get it done.

It was against the Browns who were starting a rookie. I know us Eagles fans like to brag but there is little pride in beating up the Browns.

Jarrett shouldnt have made the squad his first year but Nate Allen went down with an injury.

People are still missing the point over that trade, the Cards got rid of DRC (overrated) and apparently the Eagles are reaching for players as early as the 2nd round these days so no guarantees there, but most of all the Cards effectively got Fitz to resign because of that trade.

Call it what you want, but I’d take Fitz guaranteed over DRC and a 2nd, even if it means blowing money on Kolb.

Gilyard isn’t a bad 4th receiver – and they’ll need him (and more) against Baltimore, with Avant and Maclin banged up.

One of these days, Andy might even pick up a big receiver who can play (the oft-injured Cooper can’t, even when he’s not injured). Give him another year or 2 …. oh, wait….
