Bears still suck! What we talking 25+ years since the Super Bowl shuffle? Bears and cubs suck and always will. No commitment to a winning tradition. PS please stay out of northern Wisco. Bear and cubbie fans, you are hated here.
----------------------------------------
What a sad, bitter life you must lead, to let allegiance to a SPORTS TEAM make you hate a whole bunch of folks you've never met, and who have done you no harm.

And I'd be willing to bet that not all of your northern Wisconsin neighbors would hate me...I would like to think that most of them have more compassion and joy for life than you do. It's a shame you're making them look bad.

Don’t panic…that is what teams say when they are nervous

Correction, a team says don't panic when they lose to the best team in the NFC, not because they're nervous. If they were nervous, they would say should we move out of MN to LA?

OK moron, explain the differences between last years weaknesses and this years.

The Defense? That was the weakness last year and we went 15-1.

Super Bowl season 10-6. Long way to go and we know your Vikings will finish at the bottom of the North. At least you will have good draft picks to waiste.

Hey Bears fans...before you hang your hat on the Packers being "2-3 in their last 5 games," go back and see who the Packers beat on Christmas Day 2011.

Am I excited about the way the Packers played last week? No. Am I worried about the Bears? No. Who did the Bears beat last week that has their fans so excited?

Cutler has 11 career picks against the Packers and a passer rating of 67 in those games. He's one one game and lost six (including a MNF game in Denver his rookie year.) If I was Jay Cutler, I would be confident but I wouldn't be running my mouth the way he is. Go on and talk...that's pretty much all you have shown you can do against the Packers.

He is right, everyone else is freaking out, the 9ers played a great game yes, did the refs make that game brutal to watch yes.

Would the Packers have won with regular refs? Not the way they played.

Its one game, everyone wants to go make BOLD statements after week one. Its just that though. I think the Packers will be around when the post season arrives.

They got a lot of fresh young faces, on defense, and a few others trying to positions. It will take time to gel.

Just like it did a few years ago when they found thier stride to go all the way, and just as the Giants did last year.

Nobody won or lost a Superbowl last week, its just half the league is 1-0 and the other half is 0-1

______

Are you delusional? Just because the zebras totally missed the block in the back On the punt return does not mean that GB outplayed SF on ST's. They did not. Did your kicker kick a 63 yard FG? Uhhh no. At any rate 99x's out of 100 you will win the game if you win 2 of the 3 phases anyway. So if I give you your delusion, you still lost. Had the zebras called that punt return correctly then this game isn't even close 30-15. GB never was in that game. Period. They didn't win any phase at any time. Good luck with CHI. I don't think your team is going to beat Da Bearsssss. They're defense has a better chance at stopping GB's offense than GB's defense does at stopping CHI's offense. Unfortunately I think this is going to be a common theme for GB fans this season.

______

Are you delusional? Just because the zebras totally missed the block in the back On the punt return does not mean that GB outplayed SF on ST’s. They did not. Did your kicker kick a 63 yard FG? Uhhh no. At any rate 99x’s out of 100 you will win the game if you win 2 of the 3 phases anyway. So if I give you your delusion, you still lost. Had the zebras called that punt return correctly then this game isn’t even close 30-15. GB never was in that game. Period. They didn’t win any phase at any time. Good luck with CHI. I don’t think your team is going to beat Da Bearsssss. They’re defense has a better chance at stopping GB’s offense than GB’s defense does at stopping CHI’s offense. Unfortunately I think this is going to be a common theme for GB fans this season.

Ya I don't remember a team who made so many excuses. Plus they did it right in public. First off the packers start saying oh we beat ourselves. Hahaha not hardly the 9ers flat out played them. Stats the pressure we put on Rogers, Than 9ers ran all over them rushing yards. Than Rodgers comes and talks about replacement refs and how they cost them. Lol really any half assed football fan knows it was the 9ers who was screwed we would of Never even been a close game. The 9ers woulda held a nice 2 TD lead the whole game. That was a terriable no call not 1 but 2 blocks in the back. I gotta say the way the packers have been with the whole oh refs screwed us and the we beat ourselves crap. I have lost all respect for them. A real team like when 9ers played and lost to ravens last year. We had lots of excuses we coulda used like it was a Thursday game we traveled across country. We only got 2 days to practice cause wed we spent it traveling. I could go on but what real football team does was exactly what we did said ravens out played us we didn't use the term we beat ourselves or complain cause we only got 2 days to practice. So maybe packer player and fans should take notes and get some class

What is there to freak out about? Had the niners lost the story would be reversed and would still be just as stupid. There are some takeaways I get from everyone's responses. A. Alex Smith isn't getting enough credit.... He has from the media but other folks are pulling the "oh their D is still terrible, Alex looked like Brady against them". B. Pack defense isn't getting enough credit which goes hand in hand with Smith not getting his. They got good pressure all game... Honestly I don't think Staley is as great as some think but he is pretty damn good. He had his hands full all day. The whole situation should be most credited to the 49ers coaching staff though.. They used Moss to open up the underneath (run and pass) and creative formations to get the better of the Packers D. They did the same thing on the defensive side. You can say they exposed some weakness I suppose but lets be honest. How many teams can actually exploit those weaknesses? Maybe a handful and they don't play all of them. I still see the pack around 13-3 or 12-4. 11-5 at the very very worst. Nothing at all to panic about.

September 11, 2011:

Yes, Green Bay should be panicked. The season is over, just like it was last year after week 1 for the ultimately 9 -7, Super Bowl champion New York Giants.

As long as they are at least 4 - 4 through the first eight games, there is nothing to panic about. Unless, of course, they go 0-2, like the 2001 Super Bowl champion New England Patriots or the 1993 Super Bowl winner Dallas Cowboys.

Yes...I'm sure the Packers are going to curl up into a ball and cry themselves to sleep after one game. Last time I checked this wasn't a playoff game as it actually was the first game of a 16 game schedule. I don't care who the team is...are you ready to crown the Cardinals and Vikings division champs?

Can’t wait for the packers to “beat themselves” again this week. It should be priceless. I really don’t see anybody in that secondary capable of covering Marshall, so they better hope for a pass rush from the invisible clay Matthews, which hasn’t happened in some time now, if you actually watch the games and not the commercials. Sorry if the truth hurts.
--------------------------------------
Watch the games and not the commercials? Are you blind? Matthews had 2.5 sacks and another 4.5 pressures against a pro bowl LT. They started double teaming him in the second half cause Staley couldn't hold him. Pro football focus rated him the best linebacker to play the first week. Ignorance is bliss.
