It’s Wednesday. Hump day. Which means it’s time for the first wave of reports regarding guys who busted their humps -- literally -- on the prior Sunday/Monday/Thursday/whenever.

For the Giants, who played last Wednesday, there’s some good news. Cornerbacks Prince Amukamara (ankle) and Michael Coe (hamstring) practiced on a limited basis.

The bad news is that receiver Hakeem Nicks (foot) and defensive end Adewala Ojomo (hamstring) didn’t practice at all. Also limited in practice were defensive tackle Marvin Austin (back), center David Baas (hip), and linebacker Keith Rivers (hamstring). Tackle James Brewer (back) and running back Da’Rei Scott (knee) fully participated.

For the Bucs, running back LeGarrette Blount didn’t practice, and his mystery injury officially is a neck injury -- even though it didn’t look like he injured his neck. (We’ll take a closer look at the top of the hour, on Pro Football Talk on NBCSN.)

Guard Carl Nicks (toe) practiced on a limited basis. Receiver Arrelious Benn (knee), cornerback E.J. Biggers (foot), and cornerback Anthony Gaitor (hamstring) participated fully.
