PFT Live: Bears talk with John Mullin and the coaching hot seat

We’re going to be seeing the Bears in action on Thursday night, so we’ll spend part of Wednesday’s PFT Live checking in on the team as they prepare to face the Packers.

The Bears struggled a bit early in their opener against the Colts, but were able to get things together well enough to wind up as 41-21 winners at Soldier Field. John Mullin of CSNChicago.com will join Mike Florio to talk about how the team is feeling coming off that win and what they are thinking heading into a key divisional battle. We’ll check up on the health of linebacker Brian Urlacher and whether or not the rest of the squad is in agreement with quarterback Jay Cutler’s high opinion of the offense.

While the Bears were winners on Sunday, there were 16 losers around the league in Week One and some of the coaches on those teams could wind up earning a spot on Florio’s coaching hot seat. He’ll reveal the current state of the seat later in Wednesday’s program.

You can watch it all live at noon ET.

Andy Reid and Rex Ryan should be at the top of the hot seat list. Both of these franchises make moves to get better every offseason to no avail. Ryan should have been there awhile ago
