Watching the play, it was pretty obvious this was not a concussion… the way Blount gyrated and jolted when he stood up, it looked exactly like some sort of nerve-shock.

For the Bucs to risk a future, concussion-related lawsuit, just to keep their secondary back eligible, would be idiotic… much like the amount of press this story is getting.

He went to Charlotte to see a specialist. Its not unheard of to receive different opinions from various doctors (especially if the injury turns out to be a headscratcher like this one was). Undoubtedly, Dominik holds the doctor from Charlotte in high regard.

Undoubtedly a lie by the team. I’m sure most players are okay with it, for now, because it makes it easier for them to get back into the games sooner. But it’s just a matter of time before a player or former player comes out and says the team was lying about their concussion. It will most likely be part of a concussion lawsuit as well.
