No, he didn’t quit. He was one of the most sacked and hit passers during the prior two seasons, took more beatings and then came back-in regular season games.

No one is going to pay a 2nd rounder for someone in the last year of their contract. What did Brandon Lloyd get last year, a 6th?

Plus the Packers would get a compensatory pick for Jennings leaving after the year, presumably a 3rd or 4th rounder.

The only way I could see a trade is if the Packers get decimated by injury at a position, and they can deal Jennings for a quality player that fills that position.

Even then, that player would likely have to be from an from an AFC team and either have an expensive contract, or be in a similar situation as Jennings (last year of contract before a big payday).

I understand you probably only watch and follow the Bears, but at least be intelligent when you post. Jennings is getting almost 10mm this year. Raji, Matthews, and Rodgers all have contracts coming up next year, as well as potentially Finley, Burnett, etc. How do you pay them all? Why do you think Forte will be gone after this year, and complains after every single game? It’s one thing being a homer, it’s another having no awareness of the game.

The Packers need to trade him asap while he’s still worth a 2nd or even a 1st. If they wait and he starts reallys showing his age and which he has always had problems with injuries since his rookie year. GB can’t afford him next year and the emphasis needs to be on Raji, Mathews, and Rodgers. We have the recievers to take his place and Cobb the demon could easily be tha go to guy! He’s way more athletic then a Wes Welker and I can see him blowing up this year. Hence, later Greg.

Just his being out there changes the defense opening up lanes for Cobb, Nelson, Jones, and Driver. Whoever does not win the North is going to be a a hard fight for the wildcard spot. Packers need this game. If there’s any way he can get out there he should play.
