Getty ImagesWhether he plays this weekend or not is unclear, but Rams left tackle Rodger Saffold has already made a remarkable recovery.
Saffold was a full participant in practice Thursday after getting limited work Wednesday.
Saffold suffered a neck strain in Sunday’s loss at Detroit, and was carted off the field and kept overnight in a hospital there.
He’d provide a huge boost if he could play, otherwise Wayne Hunter would start at left tackle.

Wayne Hunter played well at LT inplace of Saffold (credit has to be given where it’s due), but I’d much rather have Saffold out there.
Little bit uneasy with this given the way he went down. But if the coaches and docs ok him, and he is ok with it, then the fans will be behind them
I’m just glad he’s ok. The minute they brought out the cart I thought the words “career ending injury” wouldn’t be too far behind. Keep strong Roger.
