The Packers are one key injury (Jordy Nelson, for example) from duking it out for last place in the division with the Vikings. The Bears, otoh, will have to beat the Rams and then beat Dallas in Dallas to show that they really have their sh*t together.

HAHAHA hardly! Vikings fans are excited about the season but also realistic unlike youre bandwagon. We have a young QB behind center that shows continous promise and we keep taking steps in the right direction. You guys just blindly say your team is going to the Super Bowl every year and if it doesnt pan out then you just point at the glory years of the past.

With all that said, ignorant fans look directly at numbers and if they don’t watch the actual games they come to blind conclusions. Everyone says that Clay was bad last season. He had 13.5 sacks in 10′ and only 6 last year but that doesn’t tell the whole story. He actually had more overall pressures and hurries last season than he did in 10′ with more sacks and he was double and triple teamed every game.

That was a late and low hit by Woodson which looked very dirty. I don’t blame Cutler for being angry about that. But then afterwards, Woodson hit Culter in the head with a slap. that should have resulted in a 15 yarder, if not an ejection. The late/low hit on Cutler also should have been 15 yards. The ref was right there for both of those.

Clay Mathews is roided out big time. Not sure how he is passing his drug tests but nobody can convince me that his build or antics are natural.

Might I remind you that the Packers had/have the worst pass defense in NFL HISTORY? They had ZERO pass rush all year.

The reason the O-line gets steamrollered is because no one’s really scared of Jay’s decision making. Why should they? He’s thrown 2x as many INTs against GB as TDs so there’s little threat in pinning your ears back and trying to destroy the QB.

After San Fran knocks Matty “Glass Arm” Stafford out for 6 to 8 weeks in the first quarter, you can log in late on Sunday night and explain to us how the kings are going to keep the throne they never had. Smith is another injury prone RB and wouldn’t be shocked to see him knocked silly too.

Stafford threw 4 picks last week against a TERRIBLE team. My guess is if the Lions score more than 10 points, it will be in garbage time or by the DEF or S/T.

Woodson didn’t say it was the secondary being good, he just said they didn’t need luck with the QB was throwing it to them. If you want to get technical, the Pack secondary looked like Carlos Rogers in a Redskin uniform – you know dropping interceptions that hit them in the hands.

Personally, I like that Cutler was trying to talk because he believed in his unit, however when you talk, you need to back it up.

Now – Woodson, I liked him before, I love him now. I mean really, that comment was priceless.

I’m only going to say this once. As soon as Cutler and his Weapons find a rhythm and get in sync, watch out. Between their Offense and Defense, I can see the Bears winning their Division and strutting right to the Superbowl. This is just the second game, sometimes It takes 3-4 weeks before a team gets into its real stride. All I’m saying is not to count them out of the picture yet, there is still a long way to go.

By the way, wheres contra to tell us how terrible our defense is?

Im right here. It kinda helps when cutler throws up lollipops for your defense to intercept it 4 times. play a team with a real QB and see if you can match it or do better. Doubtful with that D. By the way, how many times do you expect your special teams to bail out that offense?
