The Eagles won’t know until Sunday whether they’ll have their two starting receivers on the field when they take on the Ravens.
Jeremy Maclin and DeSean Jackson are both listed as questionable and will be game-time decisions for Sunday, Eagles coach Andy Reid said today.
The good news for Eagles fans is that when Reid was asked what the team will do if neither player can play, Reid indicated that he hasn’t even thought about it. So he’s apparently very confident that at least one -- and quite likely both -- of his questionable receivers will be on the field.
Maclin, who had seven catches for 96 yards and a touchdown in Week One, has been dealing with a hip pointer. Jackson, who had four catches for 77 yards in the opener, has a hamstring injury.
