Something tells me they wont be dipping too deep into their waiting list. Selling out every home game since 1972 and helping several other teams every season sell out games is pretty damn impressive to me.

The Rooneys have lived up to their end of the bargain.
Because of luxury boxes and a larger home audience, the Rooneys have been able to keep a pretty good defense intact, resulting in three AFC championships and two Super Bowl wins.

Don’t want to pay for it? Don’t buy a ticket. There are thousands currently on the Steelers season ticket waiting list. Nobody is putting a gun to anyone’s head here.

They got a great deal on Heinz Field, all of the developmental rights to the property around Heinz Field, 13mil from Fast Eddy for their little concert venue, and now the public has to cough up more cash to Ambassador Rooney and his family.

If they want more seats let them pay for it!

Someone has to pay for it (we’re not talking about the federal government here), and for once it’s not the taxpayers. I don’t think current ticket holders will mind a small increase, and if they do and choose to not renew their season tickets, there are plenty of people on the waiting list who will pay the extra amount.

The idea of needing more capacity was absurd.

Considering how awful the Steelers were back then, thank goodness one has to wait on a waiting list and pay dearly for a ticket now.
