Former NFL receiver Antonio Bryant got a couple of opportunities in the offseason to latch on with the Seahawks. In hindsight, the Seahawks undoubtedly believe they made the right decision.
Bryant was arrested Tuesday for allegedly strangling the mother of his child.
The incident allegedly occurred in April, with Bryant allegedly pushing the woman in the face, putting his hands around her neck while she was holding the child, and then continuing to kick and punch her.
Per TMZ, Bryant was charged with domestic battery by strangulation, domestic violence, and culpable negligence.
Bryant, 31, has played for the Cowboys, Browns, 49ers, Buccaneers, and (briefly) the Bengals.
Most importantly, the fact that he’s not currently employed by an NFL team doesn’t re-set the “Days without an Arrest” meter from it’s all-time high of 35 down to zero.
