APThere’s a bogus rumor making the rounds on the Internet that Falcons receiver Julio Jones broke both legs in a car accident on Friday night.
Key word: Bogus.
The Falcons alerted us to the rumor, and the team says that Jones is at practice and smiling and happy. (Not bad for a guy with two broken legs.)
We’ve since seen the report and it’s clearly a hoax. Don’t even waste your time searching for the link.
Bottom line? He’ll be on the field Monday night, and the Broncos defensive backs may feel like their own legs are broken as they try to keep up with him.

I’m glad I didn’t hear about it. I WOULD HAVE FREAKED.
Not cool.
Yeah, Florio… Champ Bailey has always struggled keeping up with top notch WRs. Clown comment.
What sad individual comes up with these internet hoaxes?
So far this year:
Eminem died twice
Morgan Freeman died
Eddie Murphy died
Jon Bon Jovi died
@ 7pints,
Bailey will be covering Roddy White all night. Tracy Porter will be shadowing Julio Jones.
One of the more complete Wide Receivers to come out since Larry Fitzgerald. It wasn’t hard to see that this kid was going to succeed at the NFL level. I think his QB, Matt Ryan is a pretty good Quarterback, but if you were to match Jones up with someone like Tom Brady, Peyton Manning or Drew Brees he’d put up Jerry Rice numbers all day long. Either way, a few more years and this kid will start setting NFL, not just Atlanta Falcons Records. Good move by Atlanta to give up what they did, It was well worth it.
That’s all well and fine but this is the important question: Is Terry Bradshaw still alive?
Julio Jones WAS in a car accident. But, he works at a car wash in Alpharetta, not for the Falcons.
I bet Champ and Porter disagree.
Wonder if someone started the rumor and quickly tried to move on Julio in fantasy.
Drew Brees wants an explanation. Oh wait…
Ryan is going to need time to throw to get Jones the ball…..not going to happen. It’s Miller Time.
What happenned to Terry Bradshaw?
