Jared Allen has a greeting planned for Andrew Luck

Andrew Luck started his career facing Julius Peppers.  For Luck’s second game, he gets a taste of Jared Allen.

And Jared Allen plans to give Luck a special greeting, if/when Allen is laying on top of Luck in the backfield.

Jared explained (or, more accurately, showed) his plans to Erik Kuselias during a Friday visit to Pro Football Talk on NBC Sports Network.

Here it is.

Well you couldn’t bust a mediocre jaguars line, so thank god you’re playing a week colts o line right Jared?

too bad the image they’re using is because Allen was called for offsides… and other than that… Eugene Monroe blanked him out the entire game. no sacks, no tackles for Allen.

Lets just hope he gets to luck or his giant head might explode in mid field from the back up of tears and confusion as to how 2 straight linemen shut him down

He was asked to provide a funny answer, so he did….there was nothing serious in that interview at all.

Allen did not play well last week. Reminds me of 2 seasons back when he just started slow and really didn’t heat up until near the end of the year.

    That sounds creepy

Yes he is going get 10 times the number of sacks he got in week 1

Chris Hansen is monitoring Allen’s behavior.

Love ya, Jared; but you really need to shut it and just play. You’re starting so sound like TO: all mouth and no game. The guy the media goes to for a sound-bite.

I love Jared Allen – dude is freaking awesome! I hope he’s involved in color commentary after his NFL career wraps up. The guy is a total breath of fresh air.

That is actually funny I like Jared Allen he is a good guy both on and off field

If u guys think Monroe had help all along, watch the tape & think again. Allen single-handedly got owned. However, another way to look at it should be Monroe is finally coming into his own (as promised), & is now flashing why he was a top 10 pick taken in ’09, pick #7.

Week 1: Eugene Monroe > Jared Allen

This coming from a guy who had zero tackles and zero sacks at home vs. the Jaguars last week. What a tool.

Considering he’ll likely abuse Anthony soft as Charmin Costanzo, he’ll likely get to 2nd base with neckbeard in the 2nd quarter.

How can you use a picture of a “play” that didn’t even count in the game to caption a story?

  17. mikealstott says: Sep 15, 2012 10:49 AM

Jaded Allen will make Luck “squeal like a pig”…..

  18. EJ says: Sep 15, 2012 10:49 AM

Luck will be sacked several times against the Vikings. Allen will get to him at least 3 times.

You clearly look at the stat line or a bitter Jags fan. He had pressure on gab all game long and almost had a 2nd one.

I looked at the stat line and didn’t see Jared Allen’s name. Are they including “Almost” in stat lines now?

Allen got man handled by a younger, hungry LT.

Jared Allen will have a couple sacks and the Vikes will cruise to victory and be 2-0 and in first in the NFC North!

  22. thelastpieceofcheese says: Sep 15, 2012 11:17 AM

Jared Allen needs a chop block to his knee.

  23. skolby says: Sep 15, 2012 11:25 AM

sans brett favre flop away from single season sack record a season ago but jags fan thinks he’s washed up based on 1st game of season. bitter much?

  24. doublebro says: Sep 15, 2012 11:44 AM

His plan is to crawl on his hands and knees and hit him after the whistle

  25. ddogdaddy says: Sep 15, 2012 11:49 AM

The only bad thing about the butt whipping the Colts will lay on the Vikings will be people saying “it’s only the vikings”. Personally, I will take any win. Had this game circled as a win for months. Bring back the swag. Go Blue.

  26. rgledz says: Sep 15, 2012 12:09 PM

It’s amazing that people judge Jared Allen off of one game when the guy has 105 career sacks and came within a half sack of the single season record last year. What a bunch of mental midgets.

  27. deltaoracle says: Sep 15, 2012 4:01 PM

The stories about the rookie shutting down Allen in practices are starting to look a little different these days…

  28. purpleguy says: Sep 15, 2012 6:18 PM

The negative Allen comments are as priceless as they are ignorant. They lousy Jags O-line had him doubled up all day, freeing Robison to harass Gabbert all day, not to mention that they did quick-hit throws and didn’t throw a long ball down field all day until Gabbert heaved his duck in the air with 30 seconds left to go. However, against the Jags, we didn’t need Allen to win anyhow.

  29. tonyromoisterrible says: Sep 15, 2012 10:35 PM

I hope Allen make peytonsneck change his name to Luck’sneck.

  30. pappavike says: Sep 16, 2012 12:33 AM

Hay, I will bet you dimes to doughnuts, that Allen would rather have the win than a QB sack!! Only an Idiot would think sacking the QB would mean more than a victory!
