Except when it counts……which is always the case with the Cowboys. They come up big when it counts the least, and come up short when it counts the most. I’m not a Giants fan, but the Giants manage to look underwhelming through most regular seasons and then come up huge when it matters most. That is what makes a great team.

Seriously, the Cult of Brady/Belichick has gone too far this time. While I don’t like players who milk their every twinge so they can look like heroes when they return (Ben, most Yankees, Paul “I have a serious knee injury, but I’ll be back in the 4th quarter” Pierce), I also don’t like this business of trying to explain away losses by citing previously unknown pre-existing injuries.

Pats fans, face it. Your team lost in the Super bowl. Again. There’s no shame in that. Thirty teams’ fans wouldn’t have minded rooting for their team that day, win or lose. You and the media lapdogs who drink from the Pats trough can stop trying to sell retroactive pre-existing injuries to the rest of us.

Actually, the last two Super Bowls that NE has been in, NY has been smarter. What’s even more embarassing to your “theory” is that in the second meeting, no one from NE can claim that didn’t know exactly what was coming.

After that sack Brady was 7/17 (41.2%) for 75 yards and 1 INT. That’s a passer rating of 30.3.

Tuck’s sack must have re-injured Brady’s shoulder and was a major factor in the Patriots losing the game.

So how exactly would a separated LEFT shoulder affect a right handed QB’s accuracy? I could understand it affecting his performance if it causes him to not want to get hit, but his accuracy? Really?

I believe that Brady played in all of the games last year. So just exactly is the issue?

More power to them for being smarter than anyone else……. get over it, they are.

Despite locking up the AFC East early, the Patriots let Brady play in all 16 games, so I’m strongly inclined to believe the separation was very mild.

And I’m inclined to believe Brady’s missed throws in the Super Bowl were due to the Giants’ defensive line manhandling the Patriots’ offensive line, not due to an injury that wasn’t worth missing a single regular season game for.
