MRI tomorrow for Gabbert’s toe, hamstring

Blaine Gabbert, Chad Henne AP

Jaguars quarterback Blaine Gabbert was unable to finish today’s loss to the Texans, and he’ll have tests tomorrow to see when he’ll return.

A league source tells PFT that Gabbert was getting checked for hamstring and toe injuries, and will have an MRI tomorrow.

Gabbert was 7-of-19 for 53 yards and a touchdown before coming out of the blowout loss in favor of backup Chad Henne.

He was standing around casually on the sidelines after being pulled, and there didn’t seem to be a big panic after the game.

We’ll find out tomorrow if there’s reason for one.

    Peytonsneck,

Yes we all know injured players are the only way the colts can win.

    7-19 for 53 yds…ouch!

Why would he panic……he will still get paid. Was it illegal to throw a pass longer than 7 yards today?

The only reason for panic would be Gabbert’s MRI coming back clean.

There should be panic if he can play.
