APRedskins receiver Pierre Garcon is still considered a game-time decision for today’s 4:05 p.m. Eastern kickoff in St. Louis. But the Redskins expect the decision to be that Garcon can’t go.
Garcon didn’t practice at all this week while he nursed a foot injury, and a source told Jason La Canfora of CBS that the team is preparing to play the Rams without Garcon on the field.
“I’d be really surprised if he played at this point,” the source told La Canfora. “It’s pretty hard to play when the first time you really even try it is before the game.”
Garcon was the Redskins’ leading receiver in Week One, with four catches for 109 yards and an 88-yard touchdown. Robert Griffin III will likely pass more to Aldrick Robinson and Santana Moss as the Redskins try to improve to 2-0 in Week Two.

Believe me. I’m cool as a cucumber if Pierre decides he can’t go. We have 3 starting caliber WR’s ready to go in Moss, Hankerson and Dez Briscoe. Josh Morgan and Aldrick Robinson are fine #2s as well…and for good measure, there’s a great running attack and Fred Davis at TE. When I say the Redskins have a complete football team, it means just that. Can’t wait to crush the Rams and to see what convenient excuses the detractors have postgame. Hail to the Redskins.
Garçon seems like a tough kid.. He will play today #HTTR
As a Ram fan, I hope he does play, because STL needs to show that it can compete this year against the best that our opponents have to offer.
RGIII will suffer a broken wrist and will be placed on the injured reserve list.
Eagles will win Super Bowl 47 and the Redskins will suffer multiple injuries.
I am a diehard Redskins’ fan, and I can honestly say that I wish he would play. That’s not for lack of confidence in our other receivers, but more because we are still not at the level where we can say that we’ll beat another team with one arm tied behind our back.
I want our best on the field for every game, and he’s the best WR we have right now.
We can still win, but so can they. HTTR
First Forte and now him?!?!
I fully expect my fantasy team to put up no more than 70 points this week.
Anyone wanna do a trade?
The Rams are tough to beat at home, so I don’t think the Skins will have an easy day of it. I bear no ill toward either team, but think the Rams will pull this one out.
Damn this the 4:00 game in VA smh won’t be looking at it
All week they’ve said he has a foot injury, and he’ll be a game time decision…..have they ever said anything about just what kind of foot injury he has?? A cut, bruise, broken bone, pulled or torn something-or-other??? I’ve heard nothing specific about just what happened to that foot….
Anyhow, now is the time for the depth to stand up and be counted-Hankerson, Robinson, Briscoe, Moss, let’s see it!!

Dez Briscoe a starting caliber receiver? The guy with less than 500 career yards in his first two seasons?
Thinking this is gonna be a long season for Pierre. Lisfranc? Turf toe?
I think voiceofreason must be on something, look at those names he mentions, does he realize how bad they are but they’re lucky the going up against the rams
Not a big loss
he’s definately on something, the only one of the guys I’ve ever heard of is moss and he is on the downside of his career. shows what happens when you view the world through burgundy glasses
Doesnt matter who their receivers are. Bobby will be exposed today for the fraud that he is.
Voice has been hanging with former DC mayor Marion Barry
overpaid b.u.s.t!!!

They’ll say “It was the Rams. They haven’t had a winning record since 2003″. How’s that for convenient?
Garcon only played 8 snaps vs the Saints (4 catches, 109 yds, TD). Essentially, the Skins played without Garcon the entire game vs NO and still kept the offense humming.
Look for a big day from Robinson in Garcon’s place this week. Also an increased workload for Morgan and Moss with a possible Hank the Tank or Brizcoe sighting.
VoiceofReason is right. Our WR depth is there. It’s not the size of the dog in the fight, it’s the size of the fight in the dog. Our boys got some fight. HTTR.

peytonsneck18……you have made the full evolution from RG3 critic/hater to just a plain old redskins hater.
Its actually hilarious, because your original justification for your actions was that your team had made the right decision and drafted Andrew Luck. Its great to see that now that has now warped your life into nothing more than a sad excuse for a football fan. You are just a pissed off, whiny troll whose only satisfaction in life is now using the internet to try to spread hate about an entire organization.
Some world we live in huh? I bet you were a well-to-do human being with plenty left to live for in life before the 2012 NFL Draft. It’s depressing to know that peoples lives can be ruined so easily by the internet, but I guess we can thank people like you for acting as the prime examples that keep the rest of us from going so far over the edge ourselves.
