There was no excuse for that sequence. In that circumstance, you never, EVER, let the opposing team have the ball back. That’s coaching 101. Don’t let your opponent take that kind of momentum into the locker room.

And then they made it worse by giving the Colts two second chances on the next drive. Brilliant. They weren’t outplayed so much as they out-dumned the Colts.

The Vikings really need to continue to build the Defense through the draft. the secondary is still awful. The silver lining in all of this is that through 2 weeks, Christian Ponder has thrown for over 500 yds with 2 tds, no interceptions, and is completing over 70% of his passes. I believe we really have found our franchise qb. That being said, he does need to cut down on the fumbles. Realistically, the Vikes are 2 years from competing for a division title
