The actual FULL quote CJ isn’t blaming others. He’s talking about himself and the offense as a whole.

CJ is a track star that got lucky. You could have put a fast wide out in his spot and he would have had similar numbers for those couple years.

He’s a selfish guy that got paid and now doesn’t want to play. Titans should accept they made a mistake by paying him and then cut there losses however they can (trade if possible). Then they should get a guy in there who acctually wants an opportunity.

If the O-line sucks, then find other ways to get him the ball. Throw it to him in the flat 10 times a game.

Other teams do this with playmaker type guys, Sproles, Bush, Harvin, and now Randall Cobb have all lined up outside their normal position so they can can more touches, or get the ball in space.

Still it goes to show why no one wants to pay a RB anymore. If you have a decent O-line you can always find someone to plug in.

This guy needs to get his ass kicked. If I was one of the guys blocking for this guy, well when his number gets called I wouldn’t be blocking. He needs to learn to give the guys he depends on some respect.

You don’t hear Locker saying guys need to do there job better.

Even if his OL is swiss cheese you don’t say that crap, This guy is the worse kind of cancer a team can have.

Why is everyone thinking cj is wrong here? Not like he or gotta play, he’s a back that needs and small seam, and he’ll take it all the way. Some backs don’t need seems , no knock on Johnson, he’s different that a rb who’s 6′ 220 lbs, not his fault , with good line play he is awesome, he’s right here

Games are won or lost on the lines. However, CJ has not made the adjustment to not having wide open lanes where any back could have run through. He’s just plowing ahead straight into defenders instead of making reads and allowing holes to open. It’s called being a great back.

Chris Johnson been exposed as a fraud who needs others to do all the work and he gets all the glory (and money). Maybe he shouldn’t have demanded so much money so the Titans couldn’t afford to hire any better linemen.

I don’t think you can blame the offensive line for everything, but Chris Johnson is averaging more yards after contact(1.2) than he is yards per carry (1.1).

He is getting hit in the back field every play. The offensive line is atrocious.

The Titans just look bad. I know it’s early in the season, but there is no consistency to their play.

It’s odd as they have several talented players and can definately turn it around. I think Jake Locker is going to develop really well, but he’ll become “shell shocked” by week 6 if the O-line plays the way it’s been playing.

A great running back and bad offensive line should still result in more than 21 yards in two games.

I’ve been on Cutler’s side in his situation, but even I can’t fathom a star running back getting 4 yards in a game.

Chris Johnson was a great runner when he could blow through a weak defense untouched. With his speed he would be gone in a flash if given a hole big enough that he didn’t have to break any tackles or make anyone miss. He was great at exploiting those holes and outrunning the defense when he did.

However, he is now facing what every other back in the league faces. He has to break tackles now, he has to make the first guy miss. This is something hasn’t really had to do yet.

If the O line is that bad then it’s on the coaches to get CJ out in the open. Bring in a two TE set. That will help Locker and CJ. Maybe they do that already, I don’t know, I’m not going to waste my time watching a terrible team.

For flash-in-the-pan loudmouth holdouts, like this guy, it would be great to have an stair-step, incentive pay plan…..pay them a base salary, and hefty bonuses if they hit certain levels of performance. In the meanwhile…….cry, cry, cry.

We fans need to come to terms with the fact many of the players really dont like the game. They do what they do for a paycheck.

Sure there are special players that show us otherwise, but that is far and few between.

CJ is out there for a paycheck. He cares only about his green-bling.
