What no one is talking about is the dirty play by Ed Reed that caused Kelce’s injury. Reed laid out a cut block and then tried to take out LeaSean McCoy’s knee. He missed but rolled right onto Kelce’s knee.

If you watch the video, it’s obvious.

Funny how the Ravens and their fans were complaining about dirty play??

I’ve lost all respect for Reid. What a scumbag.

That was one player the Eagles couldn’t afford to lose. He was becoming very, very good. Reynolds played well though, but I would be far more comfortable if they at least signed a veteran backup.

Let’s hope Vick’s backup center fairs better than our backup center on my USC Trojans team. The guy got BLOWN backwards with D-line getting in the backfield before Barkley got the snap. What a mess !!!!!!!!!

So Kelce looks to be out of action 4-6 weeks, but the Eagles anticipate Kelce’s beard to fill in on the O-Line just fine.

Cards are 13th in the league in YDS/G allowed. they are still one of the worst teams in the league and are not going to be a big problem for the Eagles.

Reid just said its an MCL and a partial ACL. They may let the MCL heal and then see if he can go with the partial ACL in 4-6 weeks. He has not been ruled out for the season.

It’s too bad. This guy is pretty good. It was a tough physical game yesterday that either team could have won and this guy definitely contributed to the win. I still think the refs were horrendous yesterday but it was a good game none the less.

It’s a shame for Kelce. It’s the nature of the sport though, anyone can suffer a season ending or even career ending injury on any play….look what happened to Weaver 2 years ago.

as for Dallas Reynolds, he spent 3 (!) years on the Eagles practice squad before making the team this year….so he does know the system well.

so far derrick gunn is the only one reporting this. he has “several sources” but those sources don’t seem to be reporting anywhere else. there hasn’t been an mri yet, so it’s all rubbish regardless.

gotta love how anxious we are to accept/predict doom and gloom. guess that “sells papers”.

Kelce has played well since taking over for Jamaal Jackson and I really hope he recovers quickly/fully. Haven’t heard much about Reynolds but liked what was shown in last nights game

Dallas Reynolds actually did a good job for the Eagles, the offense scored 17 points after Kelce went down and he came in.

Its still a tough loss though Kelce was really coming into his own but the NFL and injuries are synonymous and good teams have to find a way to overcome them and I think the Eagles will.

that is a damn shame… he was impressive for such a young guy, at that poistion. Hope he heals well.
