PFT Live: C.J. Spiller and 49ers talk with Matt Maiocco

Another Sunday is in the books and we’ll be looking back on it by talking with one of the league’s hottest players and talking about one of the league’s best-looking teams.

Bills running back C.J. Spiller may be turning Fred Jackson into football’s version of Wally Pipp by running for more than 10 yards per carry after taking over when Jackson hurt his knee against the Jets in Week One. We’ll find out what Spiller thought about Sunday’s win over the Chiefs, how he’s feeling now that he’s the feature back and what he thinks the weeks to come will bring for the Bills.

Mike Florio will also talk to Matt Maiocco of CSNBayArea.com about the 2-0 49ers, who knocked off the Lions on Sunday Night Football last week. Two wins over two 2011 playoff teams leaves the Niners looking like the best team in the NFL at present and we’ll hear what Maiocco thinks they have done to be so successful.

You can watch it all live at noon ET.

Watch out for the niners. May be looking at the best defense since the 2000 Ravens

Insert here where Voiceofreason (obviously a delusional Seahawks fan) says niners are chumps and Seattle will win division.

This goes out to all of the 49ers and Alex Smith haters…

The team is legit. There’s no “The teams a fluke… or “They can’t keep up being this good… or Alex will never get you to a title.”

After all of the hard work that the 49ers put into learning Harbaughs system for the past two years, they are finally reaping the benefit of having stability.

Talk all you want haters, but Alex Smith can no longer be called a game manager. He is the perfect quarterback for this system. Since the beginning of last year, how many other quarterbacks can say that they are 15-3… haven’t thrown a pick in over 230+ attempts, or have brought their team minutes away from playing in the Superbowl?

The 49ers loaded up, and are going to make a run at the Superbowl again. They just beat two main threats in the NFC convincingly.

As the great Biggie Smalls said: “And if ya don’t know… now you know”.

    Fred already got paid.

Everybody in the AFC east predicted Fred Jackson to be the leading rusher, who knew he would go down week one and the new CJ2K(V2) would be unleashed on opposing defenses. Gotta love my Bills but I can honestly say that the emergence of CJ Spiller is a big surprise. By the time it’s all said and done he could be the NFL’s leading rusher this season if he continues this dominance. Somewhere Buddy Nix shouts on top of a roof, “I told you so!”

I wont lie. I wanted Spiller to back up gore. Can’t really complain when the alternative was Aldon Smith and Kendall Hunter though. Kid is a straight beast and hopefully LaMichael James will bring the same type of excitement once he gets the offense down. Oh well, can’t have them all. Smart move by Buffalo

can’t everyone see the niners plays?? quick 5yd passes to right/left, vernon on a deep slant, run up middle or sit in pocket and try & pass only to get pressured then find nobody! nuthin impressive on offense.smith has what 300+yds in 2games combined?defensively good but offense completely readable teams will catch on in no time

The 49er’s are the team to beat in the NFL Brother!!
