Did anyone actually read Rey’s quote? The full quote he praised Richardson saying he knew that he was a down hill runner that can make people miss. The only part of the quote that people noticed was the second half that said basically he didn’t see that the first game Trent Played.

When is maualuga going to show the Bengals Fans something? We haven’t seen much out of him since he was drafted either…

unless you count getting blown up, missing tackles, horrible pass coverage and being in the wrong spot at the wrong time.

On the “beautiful” Richardson TD, he was looking around like he had no idea where he was supposed to be…then missed the tackle.

Yeah, I can’t blame you for your confusion. The comments that Rey made before the game were specifically about Richardson’s performance IN THE EAGLES GAME. When asked generally about Richardson Maualuga actually praised him strongly, but his comments specifically about what Richardson did in the Eagles game got distorted into some kind of general dismissal of Richardson by the media (including this site) Basically, the way the comments were reported were the very definition of out of context … he actually said some nice things about Richardson earlier in that interview before the ‘nothing spectacular’ comment.

First of all, Browns players and fans….cudos….that was definitely the best you have looked yet this year. And T-Rich….great job! Bengals players, my goodness, pick it up! You helped make them look good! We had spurts of greatness on offense…..HAWKINS TD was GREAT, but our defense left ALOT to be desired. Zimmer had better start kicking some butts! We are better than what we have shown in the last 2 weeks…..PROVE IT!

my oh my where did the bengals pass rush go this year , they made weeden look like a pro bowler sitting back there , and richardson run wild, look what phillys defense did to them and the ravens ,we need dunlap and pat sims back quickly .

He looked pretty good yesterday, Rey, didn’t he? The Browns offense woke up yesterday, too bad Haden couldn’t keep his hands of the adderall. I think it’s a very different game with Haden in there.

As many tackles as Rey missed yesterday he shouldn’t say anything bad about anyone……..I was excited when he fell to the Bengals…….wish he would have fell a little farther
